Buffalo, NY - Seneca One Realty, which owns and manages One HSBC Center in downtown Buffalo, is hosting the Fight For Air Climb at One HSBC Center on Saturday February 12 at 10 am. The event is a fund raiser for the American Lung Association. Over 200 participants will race up the 800 steps to the top of the 40 story building. Phillips Lytle LLP is the primary sponsor of the event.
Steve Fitzmaurice, Chief Operating Officer of Seneca One Realty said, "We're thrilled to host this event. In addition to individuals in the event, we'll have teams from the Buffalo Fire Department, Kenmore Fire Department, Buffalo Police Department SWAT Team, the FB,I and the United States Secret Service participating. This kicks off Saturday's events in what promises to be a great weekend for downtown Buffalo and the waterfront."
Fitzmaurice noted that Buffalo's Powderkeg Festival will be starting Friday evening (2/11) and go through Sunday afternoon on and around One HSBC Center. Drew Cerza is producing this year's Powderkeg Festival. He planned the festival to coincide with the Labatt's International Pond Hockey Tournament and the Auto Show at the Convention Center. The Powder Keg Festival proceeds will benefit the Police Athletic League.
